- I think one of my best qualities is that I adapt well and can find enjoyment in participating in just about any type of function… attending a sporting event or participating in some type of sport (softball, volleyball, basketball, touch football, jogging, or working out in the gym…all of which would be strictly on an amateur level...it's a little late in life for me to go pro)…or taking part in just about any type of recreational event indoors or outdoors (a short list to include live concerts, live theatre, movies, bowling, shooting pool, dancing, or dinner at different restaurants with various menu selections). I am comfortable in whatever attire the occasion calls for whether it be sweats, jeans, or suit and tie.
I do look forward to some down time staying at home ordering takeout, barbecuing, preparing a home cooked meal for that special someone (being a single parent raising 3 children on my own I do know how to cook), sitting close on the couch watching a movie and munching popcorn, or dimming the lights listing to music while having a drink and enjoying each other’s company. I enjoy having intimate moments like these where I can show the person I am with how much I appreciate good company...and at the risk of sounding somewhat presumptuous...I must say my displays of appreciation are something worth being there for.
My taste in music is quite varied I can listen to just about any type of music but would have to say I am some partial to music from the 70's and 80's whether it be R&B or Rock and Roll...and it's always nice to throw a little Jazz in the mix for those mellow moments...I will also listen to hip-hop or rap (as long as it is done some tastefully)...and believe it or not I will also listen to country music. I would have to say I owe this diverse taste in music to the fact that I had 3 children grow up under my roof.
I honestly can say I might try just about anything at least once...that way I can say "been there done that". I've always had the feeling there are so many places I want to go and so much I want to do. I would like to find someone that shares some of my same interest...someone that wants to live life. I see life as a book yet to be written. My book is in need a co-writer to help me with some new material that will add some excitement and adventure to the story line. Maybe with the right person we could come up with a best seller to include a happily ever after ending.
